About Debbie Brown
Deborah Brown (Debbie) is an executive coach and human resource consultant who founded Atlanta based D&B Consulting, Inc. in 1993 to provide executive career and human resource consulting services to organizations and individuals. She specializes in management development and leadership, executive coaching, career management, career transitions and outplacement, and organizational development. Debbie has taught human resource planning and organizational behavior. She is a Master Practitioner of the MBTI personality assessment and earned the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification.
She works with industries as diverse as healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, law, engineering, sales, non-profit, marketing, management, advertising, accounting, education, IT, hospitality, art, international business, government and consulting.
Debbie began her career as a family therapist in Chicago. In that role she received training in systems theory, skills she utilizes in her work with organizations today. Prior to earning an MBA from Georgia Tech in organizational behavior and human resource management, she spent five years as a financial advisor with Dean Witter, and two years in the corporate headquarters of another investment firm. She earned a BA from the University of Illinois, a Master of Social Work Degree from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
